Pregnant talk
Right now there are some pregnant women around me and naturally the topic of being pregnant comes up. You talk about kicks, about cravings and sleep deprivation. By the way, I never got to feel any kicks or alien hands. It was to crowded in my bump.
Sometimes I can feel the urge to get pregnant once more to be able to experience that. But that's really rare, especially as the chances of having multiples again are huge! I have decided long ago that I've done my thing and am through with
that phase in life. Dreams and hopes and feelings are also topics we talk about. I both like to talk about it, as it brings back that special feeling and happiness in being pregnant with three (!) miracles. And afterwards it on the
other hand brings back the pain of not having three girls to take care of now. Memories of being in hospital with all three come up too.
A few days ago it was the international prematurity day. A day where you raise awareness of all issues related to preemies. I used the day to raise awareness on hygiene issues, as that is what lacked in our case. Good thing with social media is, that
you reach out to so many people in a short time. But of course reaching out to 200-300 people isn't enough - you'd want to reach out further to be able to get things moving.
I don't know how you who got a c-section feel today? I can have frequent pain in my tummy and I don't know if it is related to the c-section or the fact that triplets have an impact on your organs in some way. Or maybe it could be something else. But
my trust in Swedish healthcare is zero, so I can't see the sense in going to a doctor. They won't help me and they will probably not find out what's wrong anyway.
At least I've finally found a jeans brand and model that works. It's a high waist model - yeah I know! this is something I haven't worn since 1992. BUT, they are quite wonderful. Got your tummy all tucked away and nothing hurts the c-section scar. So
I am going for every colour now. 😉
The girls are in such a great phase right now. They copy everything we do and absolutely love learning new things. I got them to shake hands yesterday evening and as we had loads of guests today, they got to shake hands and practice. They also love dancing
and copy moves we adults make. I just love watching them and of course I tape it all and watch the clips when I am low. They have started interacting more with each other, team working around 'problems to solve' and playing peekaboo. That's the
best game ever apparently! Great to combine with hide and seek.
