You can't - can you?

Life with multiples. It's not as easy as just having one kid and it's obviously not for everyone. You have to be creative and find solutions to situations, which wouldn't come up with one. I often hear: 'Wow! You did that!' 'I don't think you can do that.' 'No, not with two babies' etc. In the beginning I was put off doing things because of those questioning comments. But after travelling alone a few times and taking the girls wherever I go, I've got used to it and chill.

So what can go wrong? Baby is hungry? Well prep with some biscuits, water and or formula. That'll satisfy them, until you are home and can give some real food. And that heavy changing bag? Leave it at home. Honestly, how often do you change your baby in public? I might have changed diapers like 4 or 5 times. Max. I hate public toilets and why would they like them more than I do? So if I know I'll only be away for 1-3 hours, it can gladly stay at home. Take some smaller toys and maybe a pacifier. Voila!
When you are out and about, prioritise parking space - next to the shopping carts for easy transportation for example and make use of women's/family parking spaces, which are usually a bit bigger to get kids in and out of the car. Invest in a practical pram. Ours isn't and that makes some adventures really adventourous. And not in a good way. But I hope the girls will walk soon.

I have invested in baby-leashes. I can't keep on running after two kids, once they start walking. Crawling is bad enough and that's at home. So leash it is:

I forgot if I ordered the dragon or ladybug. That'll be a great surprise. 😉

So back to preparing, finding creative solutions and relaxing. As long as your mindset is: what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas - you are on the safe side. Even if the trip is a horrortrip, it makes memories and you've got something to talk about afterwards. I do get a bit offended when someone tells me it's impossible to do this or that now. I am not a lunatic and I can estimate what's working and what is not regarding my kids. So trust me.
We went shopping today and I am fed up with taking a pram and a shopping cart, so I combined it. The girls enjoyed the different perspective and all new impressions make them hopefully sleep better. It worked well. Alice didn't like sitting in the cart, so she got to sit in the seat, while Antonia had loads of fun inspecting all the groceries and fun stuff in the cart. I always get nice comments and smiles when we turn up. People seem to light up and forget being dull and emotionless. And my god am I proud of my girls. Always. I just love showing them off. Walking through every single aisle of the supermarket. 😉

Helt rätt. Det finns inget "kan inte/går inte". ALLT går, bara man vill 😎👍 // Myggan
