How many..?

How many babies do you see in the picture below?

One? Two? Or 1,25 babies? Because that is what the Swedish authorities think they see. The Swedish system for getting so and so many days from your social security to stay at home with your children is a great system and especially comparing it to other countries, makes it quite exceptionally good. But it has its flaws. As parents of multiples you don't get twice or triple the days a singleton gets, but you get 1,25 as much as a twin parent for example. But still you have two babies to take care of. Their bad they chose to come at the same time and didn't took a year in between. This year the government is supposed to overlook the rules and regulations regarding these parenting days and I hope they acknowledge the fact that twins and triplets have the right to be entitled just as many days together with their parents, as single babies have.

And no, it is not about us parents staying at home for a longer time.. it is about being at home together or giving both babies a chance to have a shoulder to cry on and a face to smile at.
And sometimes it is all about being able to nap half an hour, while your partner takes care of the babies, because both girls have kept you awake all night.
